{"id":1668,"date":"2019-07-15T16:39:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-15T16:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dcds-project.eu\/latvian-experts-in-field-of-adult-education-evaluate-dcds-learning-platform\/"},"modified":"2019-07-17T11:36:01","modified_gmt":"2019-07-17T11:36:01","slug":"latvian-experts-in-adult-education-evaluate-dcds-learning-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dcds-project.eu\/ro\/latvian-experts-in-adult-education-evaluate-dcds-learning-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Latvian experts in adult education evaluate DCDS learning platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 2 July 2019, Latvian partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcds-project.eu\/partners\/likta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LIKTA<\/a> (Latvian Information and Communication Technology association) invited experts in the field of adult education form Latvian training centres for the third peer review discussion to evaluate the DCDS online learning platform.<\/p>\n<p>Six digital skills development and training experts from 5 adult education centres and organizations all over Latvia provided their feedback and gave valuable input for further platform development. Each of the stakeholders had a chance to test in practice the online assessment and learning platform developed within DCDS project. Experts have tested the DCDS online platform through specially designed scenarios to understand the functionality, design, relevance and potential future exploitation.<\/p>\n<p>All experts agreed on the importance of the developed system for target groups\u2019 social and\u00a0 digital inclusion. Experts also suggested some steps for more effective platform application, like modular training offers in smaller courses and how to widen self-assessment tool for more successful target group initial assessment.\u00a0Experts expressed interest to follow up on the development of the project and to see the final version of the platform. They have agreed that there is a potential of the platform as an additional self-learning tool for their existing blended learning courses and as a shared learning material database.<\/p>\n<p>Peer review experts acknowledged potential of the developed learning platform and its usage for other target audiences, such as formal education system and education system employees.
