Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) is a non-governmental professional organisation, encompassing the ICT industry and ICT professionals, established in 1998. With it members LIKTA represents more than 27 000 ICT professionals in Latvia and contributes to around 4% of Latvia’s GDP. The principal objectives of LIKTA are to promote and further the development of Digital Society, provide ICT skills evaluation, training and certification for individuals and SMEs and to support ICT industry growth in Latvia. LIKTA is one of the leading e-Skills and digital empowerment stakeholders in Latvia: coordinating and implementing DSM policies and practical activities , the founder and coordinator of National E- skills for Jobs coalition in Latvia. LIKTA is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Latvia, member of the Confederation of Employers of Latvia, as well as member of Pan- European associations : ALL Digital, CEPIS and ECDL
